Doggie Day at the Guardians

Everyone who knows Ronnie and I, know we love our Guardians baseball.  Of course that means Bello has to be a fan as well.  This year early in the season while it is still cool out they started doing doggy days.  It is actually a great deal.  The tickets are cheap and you do pay $15 for a dog ticket but the tickets include a TON of stuff.  Every doggy ticket includes 2 bags of treats, a puppy hip pack, and a bandana and do not forget the doggy treats of pup cups with ice-cream.  For the dog parents it includes all you can eat buffet of mini hot dogs, sliders, nachos, potato salad, mac and cheese, popcorn, cookies, and all you can drink pop and water.  They have puppy pools and a puppy relief area.  It was so much fun

Bello loved seeing Onion and Slider with the bid tennis ball.

He sat so nicely like a good boy for the game.  He watched the field, he never barked and got along with all of his other doggy friends in the area.  Just look at that sweet little smile on his face!  I love my dear little buddy and being able to take him places.  Ronnie and I had a great time showing him off.  It was fun to see all the doggies and how they all looked freshly groomed to be out for the night with their dog parents.  It was a great idea by the Guardians and I hope they do it again next year.

Bologna Day3- day trip to Modena

We started off the day sort of late.  Decided to do a day trip to Modena, round trip was under 17 euros total for us both.  We walked to the train station which is literally like 5 minutes from our hotel grabbed a cappuccino water and apricot filled croissant and off we went.  We arrive in Modena less than a half hour later.   look at the pretty streets of Modena Another day another piazza! But we were in Modena and I was in search of balsamic...a tasting a something.  The first store I went in to had very, very high end balsamic you could do a tasting for a price and the cheapest bottle started at 60 Euro.  This was not our balsamic market.  This was a little above where we wanted to buy and we have tasted the really expensive stuff before.  But then we found a reasonable store.  Giuseppe Giusti offers free tastings of their balsamic at all different levels and their vermouth.  It was all fantastic.  We decided on some i...

YY Time with Y-town Friends

This new place is Asian town was a fantastic experience with some wonderful friends.  Ronnie and I got a call dear old friends John, Dave and Dana- from Youngstown and now living in Cleveland- to meet for lunch at a new place called YY Time.  This restaurant is a cool new concept in Asia Town.  You sit and order through a QR code.  Each seat has its own code.  They have street food, skewers, Asian soups, bubble teas and milks so many great choices.  We each ordered an then shared as we love to do.  I cannot wait to return!  Here are the great items we tried that day.   Salty crispy chicken and a fruit bubble tea Rice Noodle soup with braised brisket and one of the specialty crossing the bridge soups.  The noodle soup was amazing.  The flavor of all the broths were just amazing.  My husband and I split ours and It is definitely big enough to split.  And then we all tried a little bit of each others to just have a taste...

GIrls Trip- Alaska

I know know, this blog is all about the fun stuff I do with my husband, but this one blog post is going to be about an adventure I had with the one person I have known the longest in my life- my sister! The trip started with Angela texting one day asking if I wanted to see the Aurora Borealis....I thought sure why not.  And then we booked a trip and here we are. As we were planning I remembered an old friend from my semester at American lives in Fairbanks so I reached out to him for suggestions.  He offered some great ideas on places to go, things to do, and places to eat. Sadly we will not be able to see him and his wife, because they leave for vacation right after we got in town.   So the adventure for me started with a 7:50 text that my flight changed and a rerouting.  I left Cleveland at 1:40 pm and met up with my sister in Seattle at around 7 pacific time for a quick dinner before we parted ways for our flights to Fairbanks (different airlines).  ...
